Caring for our lil stars
Dear Nova Pediatric families,
As the coronavirus situation has been rapidly evolving, we want to assure you that our office has been taking the necessary precautions to protect you and your loved ones.
We are here to help, and as such have adapted our operating procedures:
- When you call our office, patients are being triaged per American Academy of Pediatrics and CDC guidelines. If you suspect coronavirus exposure and are experiencing fever, cough, breathing difficulties, please go to the nearest coronavirus testing center and stay home.
- We are continuing excellent care but providing more phone care which means your child's health can be managed from home. Please call the office to schedule a televisit.
- Please be advised that we are allowing only one parent to accompany the child.
- Well check visits will continue as usual in the first 2 -3 hours in the morning. We have 3 dedicated well rooms separate from 3 dedicated sick rooms
- After every visit rooms are disinfected, and the waiting room is regularly cleaned.
- All staff is required to wear face masks.
